Understand your market
If you want to start a business where you aren’t necessarily a member of the market, you must do market research via surveys, focus groups, and questionnaires to fully grasp the market. Once you receive and analyze this feedback, build a prototype and get early adopters to use your product. Make sure that you stay in contact with the early adopters via emails, newsletters, or blog post so that they can continue to communicate with you as you make changes.

I agree a hundred percent. This is a lesson I learned hands on in my first web business. Don’t forget that you have to fully understand your market and how they communicate. I was watching an old video of shark tank on YouTube and they were saying something very similar.
