When I was just a strapping teenage man, my only goal in life was to be a millionaire by the time I reached 30. This pretty much drove every decision I made from going to the Marine Corps to writing music. It was not because I wanted money, it was because I thought if I had a lot of money I could help as many people in my family as possible.
This was still my goal until four years ago when I realized that I don’t need money to make a difference. In 2006, after reading The Secret and a few other books, I changed my goal from having a million dollars to helping a million. I also realized that man’s purpose on earth is to help prolong his species by any means necessary. I feel that for me to not live with any regrets I have to help.
Most of the things that I learn I feel like I’m wronging my fellow man by not sharing my lesson with you. So when I speak to you about getting your life together or ways to improve on yourself it’s not because you are flawed. It’s because I believe that if I can help you I am helping me fulfill my own destiny.

Why is planning a wedding so difficult? Because we make it difficult. I have never been the type of person to do things just because thats the way its done. I guess Im not a traditionalist. I believe that things in life should be done if they make since not because thats the way other people do it.
When planning a wedding there are tons of things that you are supposed to do that dont really add to the experience. For example, the fact that you have to mail out save the dates. Its something small I know thats why its an example. Another thing that doesnt make since is the fact that a wedding is the only time when people come together to celebrate you but you have to pay for them. On your birthday you get gifts, your graduation you get gifts, and when you have a baby you get showered with gifts. Just venting because I needed a post for today.
With that being said Im glad Im getting married and happy I wont ever have to go through this again. Im sure I will enjoy it on the day it happens.

I’ve been doing some research trying to figure a good place for Meagan and I to go on our honeymoon. I originally felt that it shouldn’t be somewhere tropical. But now after the past few weeks of having crappy weather, I’m changing my mind. It’s amazing to me that no one besides Jet Blue and Southwest has cheap plane tickets. Here are some of the places we are considering in no particular order:
1. Dominican Republic
2. St Lucia
3. Rivera Maya
